Thank you for your interest in The Edge Basketball Camps, located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Our goal is to provide safe and fun summer camps that teach fundamentals, teamwork, life skills and foster a love of the game.

Camp History

Coach Kieckbusch established The Edge Basketball Camps in 2006. Over the years The Edge has expanded its’ offerings to include Nothing But Net, a camp dedicated to shooting skills, as well as No Limits, an all girls camp. Each year The Edge Basketball Camps grow because of the support of the wonderful families who share their positive experiences with others as well as the campers who are eager to return to camp the next summer.

Camp Philosophy

The goal of The Edge Basketball Camps is to help develop a well-rounded, complete basketball player.

Our philosophy is to instill in our campers the fundamentals of the game along with the proper attitude toward it.

We emphasize confidence, teamwork, effort, sportsmanship and having fun which we feel are necessary components in achieving success not only on the court but also with family, academics and life.

Camp Director

Paul Kieckbusch is the Varsity Girl’s Basketball Coach at Smith Middle School.

Previous coaching stints include Head Boy’s Basketball Coach at Triangle Day School (2009-2012), Head Boy’s Basketball Coach at Chapel Hill High School (2005-2008), Assistant Coach at East Chapel Hill High School (1996-2005).

Kieckbusch has extensive camp experience as a camp director and/or coach since 1993. The Edge Basketball Camp was founded by Kieckbusch in 2006.
